民進黨2018選戰與台北市長柯文哲間的合作關係，外界十分關注，對於要禮讓抑或合作，預計在本周三就會有最終結果。總統蔡英文14日接受電台專訪時，對於外傳自己喜歡禮讓台北市長柯文哲，回說「這到底是哪裡的謠言」，引發熱議。柯文哲上午專案報告時被問到，是否還是支持蔡英文連任？柯竟說，「如果我不選的話，人家要選是她的事情，我也不可能反對。」

國民黨議員王鴻薇先問柯文哲，這次2018選舉是否好選？柯文哲坦言蠻難選的，每一場都很困難，「沒有什麼...選舉要堅持理念的時候還是蠻難選的。」

王鴻薇接著問，上週柯文哲在電台轉訪時稱支持蔡英文連任，現在是否還支持蔡英文2020繼續連任？柯文哲未正面回答，僅表示，「基本上，我本來就沒有選2020的計畫，如果我不選的話，人家要不要選是她的事情，我沒必要反對。」

由於沒有正面回答提問，王鴻薇接著再問，現在也不敢講說支持蔡英文連任？柯文哲說，原則上，我還是希望國家穩定，不希望民進黨內鬥，不喜歡那個局面，但隨即被王鴻薇批評又是髮夾彎。
